Bets

Once accepted a bet can only be cancelled by mutual consent unless a pricing error has occurred and a bet is cancelled.

The placing of a bet with Apollobet signifies your acceptance and understanding of our rules.

We reserve the right to refuse the whole or any part of any bet.

All bets are deemed for the day of acceptance, unless otherwise stated.

We can not accept responsibility for errors and reserve the right to correct obvious errors.

Any bet not substantiated by our tape recording equipment, or written to our database will not be recognised by us.

All bets accepted will be settled on the official result, unless otherwise stated.

We cannot guarantee to pay or correct errors if they are brought to our attention more than six months after the official result of the last selection to run on the bet.

Postal and emailed bets are not accepted.

Apollobet cannot accept responsibility in any way for website delays or interruptions in operation or transmission, loss or corruption of data, communication or lines failure, any person's misuse of the site or its content or any errors or omissions in content.

For all telephone bets, the time at which the bet was recorded on our tape recording equipment will govern settlement. For online bets the time that the bet was written to our database will govern settlement.

Where the official OFF of an event is not announced, bets will be accepted up to the advertised OFF time. Any bet taken after this may be deemed void, unless we are satisfied that the bet was accepted before the actual OFF. However, for some sporting events, we may allow a grace period during which bets will be accepted provided that there has been no significant development in the event. For example on football matches, we may accept bets up to 5 minutes after kick off provided that no goal has been scored or there has not been some other significant incident, such as a sending off. On multiple bets, any selection or selections that have been deemed to be void in line with the above will be treated as Non Runners.

Limits

The following are the limits that can be won by a single client or syndicate in respect of any one day’s business. Our operators are not authorised to accept bets that exceed these limits. In the case of bets taken in error, the limit will stand.

Where bets are placed on different days, the maximum payout limit will apply to the day that the final selection in the bets was completed and not to the day that the bets were placed.

Any group of customers who have placed the same combination of selections and we believe have been acting as a syndicate, will be treated as one customer for the purpose of the above limits.

13. Related Contingencies in Events

When the result of one event has a direct influence on the outcome of another, there is a related contingency. Selections from related events cannot be combined in an accumulator, e.g. Team A to beat Team B in a league match, and Team A to win the league.

Where an accumulative bet of this type has been accepted in error it will be settled by equally dividing the stake unit where the related outcomes clash.

14. Outright Tournament Betting

Markets are occasionally opened which relate to the outcome of a sporting event beginning more than 1 week in the future. Ante Post bets on sports are accepted all in, run or not, entered or not. Except where these rules specifically state otherwise, stakes are lost on an Ante Post bet if a selection does not take part. In all cases Apollobet reserves the right to deduct the equivalent of Tattersalls rule 4(c) to reflect returning stakes on Non-Runners.

15. Apollobet does not accept any responsibility for typing, human or palpable errors, which lead to obvious price errors. In such cases all bets will be deemed void. Apollobet will always attempt to contact the customer where possible to advise of any voided bet(s).

16. Apollobet does not permit individual customers to create "duplicate accounts" e.g. more than one account in any one currency. Any customers found to have created duplicate accounts will have their accounts suspended.

17. Apollobet does not permit the use of robotic, mechanical or electronic, or other devices to automatically make decisions in any game as a guest or customer.

18. A registered customer may by written notice or electronic notice to Apollobet;

- Set limits or exclude themselves from playing for a minimum of six months as per our Self Exclusion Policy.

- A customer who has set a limit or exclusion under this regulation may only reactivate their account at the end of the self exclusion period by written request.

- A notice increasing or revoking a limit or decreasing the exclusion has effect only after seven days after Apollobet has received the notice.

- A notice reducing a limit or increasing the exclusion has effect immediately after it is received by Apollobet.

- Apollobet will not accept a wager from a customer contrary to a limit or exclusion set by the customer under this regulation.

FOOTBALL RULES

1. All soccer match bets apply to 90 minutes play. This includes injury time but not extra time or penalty shoot-outs, unless otherwise stated for the event.

2. Bets will be deemed void, if the bet was placed:
a. After kick off, unless the selection is for an advertised "betting in running" event.
b. On a match that is abandoned before 90 minutes have been played, unless the match is restarted or replayed within 24 hours at the same venue.
c. On a postponed game unless the game is played within 24 hours at the same venue.
d. Prior to the market being revised accordingly if the venue for a match has changed.

3. In cases where a "void" selection is part of a multiple or accumulator, the void selection(s) will be treated as a non-runner(s) with the stake running onto the remaining selections in the bet.

4. All odds are subject to fluctuations and may vary from advertised prices.

5. Dates and kick off times shown on the internet or in advertisements are for guidance purposes only.

6. Apollobet does not allow customers to place accumulators containing a mixture of match odds (i.e. Asian Handicap, Traditional Odds, Under & Over) with Outright or Special selections.

7. 'Ante Post' or Outright each way bets are settled on the place terms at the time the bet was struck.

8. Apollobet will use official match results as published by the Press Association or comparable authority. The results will also be confirmed by a secondary independent source. Following this, the relevant monies will be credited to a customer's account.

9. Dead heat is a term generally used when the participants are tied with the same position. If a dead heat has been declared on an event, any winning bets will have their stake divided by the number of tied participants and settled at the full odds at which the bet was struck.

10. Goal scorer bets Stakes are refunded on any player who takes no part in the match or who comes on as substitute after the first goal has been scored. If an Own goal is the official result for the 1st Scorer this does not count for settlement purposes. All 1st Scorer bets are for 90mins play.

We may also offer Last Scorer bets. All players taking part during a match are deemed to have played for the purposes of settling bets on Last Scorer, irrespective of whether they are on the pitch at the time the last goal is scored.

On a match where 90 mins play has not been completed all 1st Goal scorer bets are deemed void. This includes No Goal scorer bets as these are offered on the basis of 90 minutes being played in the game.

Where there is a dispute concerning who scored the goals in a match, bets will be settled according to the official result passed by the Press Association (PA).

11. Double Result Forecast (Half-Time/Full-Time Betting)

Double Result singles and upwards are accepted on matches advertised on this site. Bets will be voided if the match is abandoned prior to the completion of 90 minutes of play.

12. Correct Score Betting

On matches where we accept Correct Scores, these bets will be settled after 90 mins play, if a match is abandoned before 90 mins play, all Correct Score bets will be void.

13. Scorecast Betting

Where a player is declared as a void selection in a scorecast, the bet will become a win single on the correct score requested.

14.Related Contingencies in One Match

Where we offer various betting opportunities from the same match (e.g. Correct Score, First Player to Score etc) these cannot be combined in accumulative bets where the outcome is related.

Where an accumulative bet of this type has been accepted in error it will be settled by equally dividing the stake unit where the related outcomes clash.

Where a specific meeting is not requested, and dependant upon the time the bet was placed, bets will be settled on the first applicable meeting of the day. Where a bet for a single (including Forecasts & Tricasts) is inadvertently accepted with incorrect timing instructions, it will be settled as follows: If the meeting is nominated but the time is incorrect or corresponds with a race already resolved. The bet is settled either for the next race to run at the nominated meeting or for the race applicable to the stated race time, whichever is next to go after the bet is placed. If the meeting is nominated but the stated time relates to another meeting, the bet is settled either for the next race to run at the nominated meeting or for the race applicable to the stated racetime, whichever is next to go after the bet is placed. In multiple bets, which contain a selection(s), where the time and meeting given do not correspond the race time stated will be given precedence and the selection(s) will be settled for the meeting applicable to the race time. For Trap Challenge, all bets will stand irrespective of vacant traps, void races and abandoned meetings. Where there is a dead heat in a race the respective traps will be awarded 1 win each. If there is an equal amount of wins recorded in the outright result then settlement will be made in accordance with the Dead Heat rules.

Re-Runs

Where a race has been declared void and is re-run, all bets will stand for the greyhounds that take part in the re-run. The prices returned on the re-run will govern the settlement. Show prices laid on void races will not be valid for the re-run race, and such bets will be settled at the returned Starting Price. A re-run greyhound race is taken in the order in which it was originally placed in the programme, irrespective of the time at which it was re-run. Where a race has been declared void and is not re-run, all bets for that race will be made void and will not count for any additional race (e.g. reserve race) We do not accept bets on Greyhound racing at Tote odds.
